The Kesäniemi beach has a beach volley court, a dock, 3- and 5-metre diving towers, changing rooms and a toilet.

Enjoy the summer’s day at the Kesäniemi beach! Kesäniemi is a popular beach along the Kajaaninjoki River, approximately two kilometres from the city centre.

Drinking alcohol and smoking is prohibited at the beach.

There are parking spaces on the eastern side of the beach, 100 metres from the beach. If you ride a bicycle to the beach, you can get very close to the beach on a bike path.
